Nancy P. Patterson is a seasoned legal professional, servant leader, and passionate advocate for her community and the environment. With over 35 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate law, Nancy is known for her results-driven mindset, approachable nature, and unwavering dedication to those she serves.
Born in Seattle and a proud Dallas resident since 1963, Nancy has deep roots in the Lake Highlands and White Rock Lake communities. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1977 and earned her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law in 1982. Her career began at Liddell Sapp, as an associate, and she is now the founder and principal of N.P. Patterson, P.C., a fee office for Fidelity National Title Agency Inc serving the greater Dallas as well as state wide. With a dedicated team of three, her firm provides personalized, reliable residential and commercial real estate closing services backed by decades of legal expertise and integrity.
Nancy’s professionalism and collaborative spirit have earned her the trust of clients and peers alike, along with longstanding membership in the State Bar of Texas and other professional organizations.
Beyond her legal practice, Nancy is a committed volunteer and civic leader. Since 2009, she has played a key role at the Dallas Zoo as an Ambassador at Large, serving on both the Board of Directors and the Guest Services Committee. In recognition of her exceptional contributions, she was named Volunteer of the Year in 2014.
Nancy’s leadership style emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and relationship-building—qualities that shine through in every aspect of her work and volunteerism. She is a lifelong learner and a natural connector, always striving to bring people together to achieve shared goals.
At home, Nancy is a devoted mother and grandmother who cherishes time with her family in Dallas. She is an active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and has been involved with the Rush Creek Yacht Club and HOA for decades. Her love of the outdoors and active living is evident in her passion for long-distance walking, sailing, scuba diving, and caring for her East Texas ranch.
